First Trip to Seattle

In the first month I lived in the U.S., My friend and I visited Seattle. On that afternoon, we drove a car to get there. We stopped at Ranch Market, Lynnwood to buy some Indonesian spices. We also stopped at Hong Kong Dim Sum Restaurant to have a lunch. However, we had to wait into line for 15 minutes. It was boring. We decided to move at DaVinci’s Pizza, which is located the next block. We had a delicious lunch over there. Soon we continued to Seattle. We arrived at Seattle shortly.
Seattle is the largest city in Washington State. Seattle also has many famous industries in the world such as Boeing, Microsoft, Amazon, Costco and Starbucks. Recently, many experts predict that Seattle is one of 10 largest growing cities next 10 years in the United States. By visiting Seattle, we hoped that we can enjoy the day in a huge business city in the world. Clearly, we could be happy to visit some places in Seattle.
For one thing, we explored Pike Place Market, which is the largest fish market in Seattle. We bought 8 lbs of fresh salmon fish and 2 lbs of cod fish. There were also many choices to buy such as clothes, toys, bag and any kind of accessories.
For another thing, we also visited the world’s first Starbucks coffee shop. For second time on that day, we had to wait in a long line in front of the store. We tried to be patient. How surprised we were! Apparently, the shop was not as big as our imagination. Before seeing the place, we expected we could enjoy a cup of cappuccino inside because we imagined the old fashioned, antique and classic shop to relax. Unfortunately, drinking inside is not allowed and no chairs are provided.
Last, we visited Bruce Lee and Brandon Lee’s grave, who were our favorite martial artist film stars. It took several minutes to arrive from downtown Seattle. It was not easy to find the exact location. After arriving at the location, we walked and looked for their gravestone. We found that, and we paid our respects to them. We also didn’t forget to take a picture next to the gravestone.
